Swim Pods are small group classes for ages 3 & up. The engaging curriculum teaches how to interact with the water safely and have fun! Water safety coaches foster skill development through water play and focused, encouraging instruction. Participants will learn the skills required to become successful swimmers!
Parents can expect coaches to be kind, supportive, and effective.
Coaches expect parents to follow drop-off & pick up procedures allowing access to view & hear class the class but remain apart from it. We’ve been doing this a long time. It’s better this way.
Flippers and floatation devices are not used in the Swim Pods curriculum. Coaches want participants to become attuned to their natural body position in the water. The only exception is when we discuss boating safety and life jackets are worn as part of the exercise.
Your child is ready for Swim Pods if they have the following capabilities most of the time.
- Can separate from you
- Can follow instructions
- Can be respectful of coach & pod mates
Monthly Sessions include (8) Classes.

We would like you to stick to the same day attendance, but can be flexible on occasion. We will meet on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 12 – 1 PM at the Severna Park Racquetball & Fitness Club.
Our Goals Include:
Inspire swimmers to THINK and FEEL in the water.
