  • Willa Lloyd

Assistant CCA Coach & YPSS Instructor

My mother taught me how to swim at a very young age (3 years old). It wasn't until I was in college when I learned proper stroke techique and how well I could swim. After years of a hiatus from the pool, I reconnected with my love of swimming thru the world of Triathlons. In 2014 I participated in my first TRI and my love for swimming was re-ignated. I started supporting open water swimmer (which I absolutely love). My youngest son started swimming in a summer swim league where I volunteered as a timer and handing out awards. From there I apprenticed as a Stroke and Turn judge with USA Swim. I am proudly certified with the American Red Cross, as a Water Safety Instructor! And, I hold my Lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross.

As an instructor I feel it is important to be a good listener. Yet it is also important to teach proper strokes and breathing. I consider myself to be a compassionate Coach!
