This group will work on stroke mechanics of all four strokes, as well as water feel and buoyancy. Stroke Development is focused on refining the details of all of the strokes, including how swimmers leave the wall and starting blocks.

This is a program that utilizes many drills and drill progressions. It is important that kids build habits that promote efficiency and speed.

Swimmers should be able to swim at least 50 yards freestyle, 25 yards backstroke and have a working knowledge of butterfly and breaststroke. This group will help swimmers improve their endurance through drills that improve the efficiency of the strokes.

Level 3: Stroke Development 3 is appropriate for swimmers age 11-13 who want to work on refining all four strokes, as well as improve their endurance through developing a more efficient stroke. Swimmers should be able to swim at least 50 yards freestyle, 25 yards backstroke and have a working knowledge of butterfly and breaststroke.
