Our Adult Learn to Swim program at the North Arundel Aquatic Center is designed for individuals of all skill levels—from true beginners to those seeking to refine their technique.

Each class focuses on safety, skill development, and fostering a love for swimming in a supportive and friendly environment.

Swim Lessons for Adults

All sessions are held at the North Arundel Aquatic Center in Glen Burnie, a premier location equipped with outstanding facilities for swimmer development.

  • True Beginner meets on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:15 AM

  • Intermediate meets on Sundays from 10:15 to 11 AM

  • This program is perfect for adults from absolute beginner to intermediate in their swimming abilities. It is also appropriate for teens with the maturity to be in a learning environment with adults.

  • Swimmers should wear a swimsuit and bring goggles and towel. Any additional training aids will be provided.

  • We understand that life happens! Makeup classes may be available, so please speak with your instructor for options.

  • The program is open to ages 13 & over.
